We are so happy that you have joined our online community. Your passion for life comes through in your writing and I look forward to hearing more about your dreams, ideas and experiences. We only have a handful of members from Mozambique and so, are interested in hearing more from your beautiful country. I hope you will encourage your friends to join PulseWire so that we may learn more about the issues that women face in Mozambique.

Also, I am so happy that you have joined our Voices of Our Future group. You might want to browse through all of our community groups as it's a great way to build powerful networks, find members with similar interests to your own, share ideas or actions. With the group journal, you can brainstorm solutions, pose questions, test ideas and create a support network for your visions.

So, welcome. I know that you will find this to be a positive experience.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I will do my best to share the experiences for Mozambican women with the online community. My work takes me to the marginalized communities in Mozambique, where I am accepted in the private lives of strong and powerful women who face sooo many challenges in life and yet remain cheerful kind and full of love. I am humbled by it all and I feel richly blessed to learn from these simple women. More from me later,

Have you seen this?

Tafadzwa, Ashoka’s Changemakers, in partnership with the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, are accepting applications for the online competition "Champions of Quality Education in Africa". They are looking to innovative teachers, administrators, professional networks and education organizations in Africa to find promising practices that improve learning at the local, district, and national levels.

I think Africare would be a great candidate for this competition. Entries due June 3rd. Best wishes,
