Women and Girls: Let's Unite to Improve Our Education Because to Educate One Person Is to Educate a Whole Community

To educate one person means educating a whole community––a change in mentality...!!!
We will discuss how we African women live today. A woman must respect herself and be respected by others!
Respecting one woman seems easy, but today we see that many of us let ourselves go, we give up our power. For example, we end up doing bizarre things sometimes, because of a lack of means in our families, things that tarnish our dignity.

We girls of today, age 15 and up, who want to go out with old men, without being ashamed, men who could be our grandfathers... We do it because of a lack of financial resources in our families. God chose for women to be the heart of the household.

The life we are living today shows us that many African women have rejected their cultures. Culture is the way or style of living of a society.

Let's act well, for the future is getting closer!
We will become mothers of children. What sort of education will the girls of today one day give to their children?
In my village, an elder told us: "My children, keep, and never reject, your education."

To all members of our Maman Shujaa RDC community, women and girls of the entire world, let us improve our education and our culture.

We want to thank our group again and again, and hope that the All Powerful blesses them with His graces in order to help women and girls. We would like this association to be in all parts of our town.

World Pulse believes that women's stories, recommendations, and collective rising leadership can—and will—bring girls greater access to education which will transform their lives, their families, and communities. The Girls Transform Campaign elicits insightful content from young women on the ground, strengthens their confidence as women, and ensures that influencers and powerful institutions hear their stories.

Amicalement,

Kirsten (traductrice français->anglais)
