Introducing myself and my journal: women empowerment in Arunachal Pradesh, India

About Me:
I am a research scholar from Rajiv Gandhi University of India. I have completed my master of philosophy in gender studies in deptt. of political science and i am joining ph.d next month.since from the beginning of my days, i have been a staunch supporter of women empowerment seeing the deprivation of women in social, economic and political arenas. i don't have any organization fighting for the cause of women's right but i am trying my best to educate people through my studies. let us hope that we could together speak for ourselves and fight for our rights. i am so happy to be a part of this movement. thank you world pulse.

My Passions:
is my dream

My Challenges:
to stand firm in any circumstances

My Vision for the Future:

Welcome!

Dear Minbi-

So glad that you have joined this thriving community at WP! Thank you for this first journal entry, as it gives us a good look into your life and who you are. It also gives others a chance to connect and respond, starting good conversation. You may find this getting started guide helpful: http://worldpulse.com/pulsewire/about/guide

I think "to stand firm" is a great goal to have, and one we could all aspire to! You know, I don't have an organization either, and most people do not. It is all of us coming together with singular mind that makes us strong and effective- we don't have to run a group or large organization to be effective. You are effecting the world around you already!

You may want to explore the WP site to see all the exciting things going on and ways to take action. I have found the quickest way to enter into this community is to click on the "Voices Rising" link, which is under the "PulseWire" tab near the top of the screen. From there you can easily access and read journal entries, and perhaps make a comment in reply. In order to add people to your community, click on the person's name. You will be taken to their profile, and can click on the 'add to my community' link under their photo.

Let us Hope together-
Michelle
