Introducing myself and my journal: Blue Sky

About Me:
I am a woman from some corner of this terrestrial world. I like strokes (pulses) because I often fall asleep. Most of the time I become very frustrated and tired of everything that a small stroke or pulse makes me be more careful and attentive. I like writing but not very good at it as anything else which needs concentration. It is my first time being a member of a networking group like the WorldPulse. I think I can learn very much from it and the people who are here.

My Passions:

My Challenges:
My own Society

My Vision for the Future:
A peaceful world

My Areas of Expertise:
I think nothing

Welcome to World Pulse

Dear Shekofa,

Welcome to the community! You are now part of a thriving network of grassroots women leaders and supporters from more than 190 countries. See the Getting Started Guide to learn more about networking in our community.

You can jump right in by make entries from your personal journal or you can take baby steps by just becoming familiar with the website. I'm still learning about a lot of the features but I'd be happly to help if you have questions (you can simply reply to this post or click on my name which will take you to my profile and send me a personal message).

I look forward to hearing your voice in the community!

In friendship,

PS - Why are you not an expert in anything?

Welcome, Shekofa!

Dear Shekofa,

You are warmly welcomed to World Pulse and I thank you for joining and becoming a part of our community. We are here to listen to each other, and to help lift each other up with encouragement. There are women here who are working every day to make this world a safer, kinder, and more beautiful place for us to live and thrive. We can express ourselves fully here and get a kind comment from someone across the globe. It's a truly wonderful thing. I know you will be inspired and will learn a lot. And we can also learn from you!

I am glad that you like to write. Don't worry about concentrating. Just write what comes naturally and feel free to share your thoughts, feelings, concerns, hopes, and dreams with us. Let us know what matters to you. What inspires you? What makes you smile?

Your society is your challenge; I get that. I can't imagine what it feels like to live in Kabul. Would you be willing to write about your life there and what motivates and inspires you? What discourages and scares you? What gives you peace? How can we achieve your vision of a peaceful world? I want that too! I want to do what I can to make that a reality.

I'm glad that you're here. I look forward to hearing more from you soon. Feel free to comment on others' journal posts or make journal posts of your own!

With love and respect,

"I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being."
