Introducing myself and my journal: Power to all women

About Me:
I am a high school teacher in my working life but I am a committed environmentalist and socialist so would love to see all women getting a good education and as a result improving their lives.

My Passions:

My Challenges:
Doing as much as I can to help others

My Vision for the Future:
A world where everyone is equal

My Areas of Expertise:
Education, environment

Hello Jenni,

Welcome to World Pulse online community. It is a pleasure to have you with us!
Here you will find many women who are like you committed to the education of women and girls everywhere.
In fact our ongoing Digital Action Campaign this year is about Girls access to education, so you might want to write for it:
I would love to hear about the challenges and barriers to education that girls encounter in your country.
I want to encourage you to start networking and maybe read what some women have written about girls and education.

Welcome to World Pulse, Jenni!

Dear Jenni,

Thank you for joining World Pulse and adding your voice to this growing chorus of women and men from more than 190 countries around the world. A warm welcome to you!

I share your passion for nature and protecting the environment. It is an incredible privilege to be near so much pristine natural beauty in my corner of the globe and I feel personally responsible to help protect it. What part of Australia do you live in? My husband and I are very interested in travelling there someday. I also appreciate your challenge to do as much as you can to help others. I find it to be a sometimes tricky balancing act between my insatiable desire to reach out and help others and remembering to take good care of myself. But helping others brings more joy, health and happiness than anything else!

I encourage you to reach out to others who share your interests and goals. To learn how to navigate the website and network with others, please refer to the Getting Started Guide:

I look forward to hearing more from you in the days to come. Again, welcome!

"I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being."
