Chronic fatigue is such an exhausting condition. So tired, my fingertips are tired. I can't seem to stay awake. I was told to take Vitamin B and D and it seems to help some. But this past week it hasn't been enough. Women suffer from this debilitating disease and yet it seems rare that Doctors give a true diagnosis. Mostly we go to a Doctor who sends us to a Psychologist who tells us we are suffering from depression or that as women, we tend to imagine it. Really? Walk in our shoes a few miles Doc. See how much we fit into a 24 hour day and then tell us we are imagining how tired we are.

As a woman, I want so much to tell everyone that this exhaustion is not in our heads. We are truly exhausted and we don't take care of ourselves as much as we should.

Sleep...... Perhaps at least for a couple hours. Then back to being a Mom, wife, and Human Resource / Counselor .....

Take care

I hope you find relief from the exhaustion. I have battled insomnia for the past couple of years which can be debilitating and can make me lose perspective/zest for life. I think mine is related to anxiety...if I can manage my stress a little better during the day (abdominal breathing, meditating, slowing down) then I don't lie awake for as many hours. I am almost 44 and feel that hormones are contributing to these changes. You're so right when you say we don't take care of ourselves as much as we should. We're so often putting others first, but this backfires...take time to nurture yourself! I will try to as well.
