Hello Buumba,
I am happy to welcome you to the World Pulse community! You have joined an amazing digital network whose goal is to enable women from all over the world to communicate and collaborate to find solutions to the most challenging and pressing issues facing women today. By nurturing and empowering women at the grass roots level, we can help effect change in individual lives and in communities in every corner of the globe.

What an amazing NGO you have started and what better issue to devote your time to than children in need. I would love to know more about what your NGO does in your village of Magoba. I also love children and get that warm fuzzy feeling inside when I see them smile! Your idea to eventually involve men in your group is wonderful; they too are part of the solution.

On the WP site, you can read about many thought provoking issues and discover various ways you can take action should you want to. To learn more about how to get started in the WP community, please read The Getting Started Guide:

You are also encouraged to participate in our "Girls Transform the World" digital action campaign which runs until May 10. For more information, please go to this link and click on Submit Your Story! You'll then be taken to a page with the Submission Guidelines and all the relevant information.

We love to read about other women's passions, hopes for the future, experiences and life situations so please feel free to share yours with us by writing a journal entry, which you can access under the My Pulse tab.

I've found WP to be a vibrant, supportive community with an empowering message so I encourage you to explore the site and interact with the community. Through online platforms such as WP, women the world over can unite and become a powerful force for change!
