Welcome to the WP Family!

Hello Melbell! Welcome to the family! You have joined such an amazing and empowering network that works together to promote female empowerment and eliminate violence in all facets! Together we can connect, communicate and collaborate!

Now that you've joined the network there are a few things I'd like to encourage you to get involved in. There are a few current programs that you can get involved in to spread the word about women's health and education - as well as their empowerment. They are:
Digital Action Campaign - http://worldpulse.com/about/blog/announcing-our-girls-transform-the-worl...
Maternal Health Campaign - http://worldpulse.com/about/blog/call-for-submissions-maternal-health
Girls Transform - http://worldpulse.com/campaigns/girlstransform/girls-transform-the-world...

These are just some of the amazing opportunities that this network has presented you with. We urge you to get involved and share your voice with us all! We look forward to reading more of your pieces!

Much love & respect xoxoxo

Glad to have your voice

Dear Mellbell3,

I am so glad you have added your voice to the World Pulse community of women around the world (from more than 190 countries!)

I just joined World Pulse myself this week, and am excited to be a part of it. There is so much to learn and be inspired by on the website.

Like you, I have reached midlife and am weighing how to best use my passions, skills and ideals in the second half of my life (or last two-thirds of my life....let's me optimistic! :) I am encouraged by your altruism--your wish to improve the lives of women is inspiring and I thank you for your vision!

I am so curious about your experience as an American woman/mother living in Beijing. I lived in South Korea for several months in the 1990s and it was a life-altering experience--that was before I had kids. I look forward to hearing more from you in the days ahead. Be sure to check out the World Pulse "Getting Started" guide to learn more about networking in our community: http://worldpulse.com/pulsewire/about/guide

Thank you for sharing a bit of yourself with us. Please continue to write! I wish you love, health, happiness!

-Susan
