Introducing myself and my journal: Sustainable Peace, Sustainable Food
About Me:
Everything I've learned in my feminist studies classes have warned me about the danger of presenting my activism as "maternal" but, let's face it, the birth of my son nearly three years ago transformed my perspectives and values. I believe firmly in the education, social rights, and indepedence of women. I am passionate about carving out sustenence, not through food aid, but by providing the land, tools, and knowledge necessary for women to grow their own food and provide for their families.
My Passions:
Music, art, food, the environment
My Challenges:
Finishing my B.A., nurturing my son, cultivating a better today
My Vision for the Future:
A place of peace and abundance for generations to come.
My Areas of Expertise:
Environmental Studies

Also, please take a moment to browse through our group directory (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups) where you may find a group with similar interests to your own. Or, you may consider starting your own group where you can build a powerful network bringing together PulseWire members with similar visions who want to share ideas or actions. With the group journal, you can brainstorm solutions, pose questions, test ideas and create a support network for your visions.
