Introducing myself and my journal: HOW CAN I MAKE A CHANGE IN MY COMMUNITY AS WOMAN

About Me:
I AM A SOCIAL WORKER AND A PEER EDUCATOR TRAINER.AS A HUMANITARIAN WORKER,I WORKED WITH CHILDREN WITH PHYSICAL DISABLED CHALLNGES SUCH AS AUTISM,DOWN SYNDROME,EPILEPSY,CEREBRAL PALSY. THOSE WONDERFULLY CREATED CHILDREN IGNITE A PASSION FOR ME TO STAND FOR THE UNDER PRIVILEGE AND THOSE THAT ARE DEPRIVED OF OF THEIR FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREEDOM IN FORM OF IMPRISONMENT OR DUE TO CULTURAL AND TRADITIONAL DEPRIVATION. IN ANY DOWN TRODDEN I SEE IMAGE OF GOD,AND THUS THE NEED FOR A SUPPORTING SHOULDER,TO STAND BACK ON ONES FEET.AS THE SAYING GOES,EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS A PRODUCT OF HELP.
AS A PEER EDUCATOR TRAINER,A PROJECT BY NYSC/UNICEF,I WAS ABLE TO WORK WITH YOUTHS AND TEENAGERS AND I REALIZED THAT TO TRAIN A YOUTH ONE HAS TRAIN A FUTURE LEADER,BUT IF YOU TRAIN A GIRL CHILD,U HAVE TRAIN A FUTURE COMMUNITY.RECENTLY I HAVE TRAINED 160 PEER EDUCATORS AT SECONDARY SCHOOL AND PRESENTLY AM WORKING ON A SELF SPONSORED PROGRAMMED ON DANGERS OF PRE-MARITAL SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP AMONG YOUTHS,TO MENTION BUT A FEW.
I AM A GRADUATE OF SOCIAL WORK AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT(B.SC)ALSO I OBTAIN MY ORDINARY NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN SOCIAL WORK AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FROM UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA NSUKKA,WITH 5 YEARS FIELD WORK PRACTICE. PRESENTLY AM WORKING ON AN NGO TITLED LIBERATION OF THE FEMALE GENDER".

My Passions:
TO ASSIST PEOPLE TO ACHIEVE THEIR SELF WORTH

My Challenges:
MASS ILLITERACY IN MY LOCALITY,LACK OF FUNDS

My Vision for the Future:
A SOCIETY FREE FROM GENDER DISCRIMINATION.AND RASICM

My Areas of Expertise:
MENTORING AND ADVOCASY FOR THE NEEDY
