Hello Applicants,

Hope you all are doing wonderfully well and busy writing for week 3 assignment. This week's assignment touches upon a significant topic of Girls' Education- Barriers and Solutions. Hope to read and share many exciting posts. The past few days were a little difficult for me. My father is recuperating in the ICU. Hence i missed reading your amazing stories and commenting on them. I missed all of you so much. But now he is feeling better and i am happy to connect again.

Here's wishing you a Happy Weekend and Happy Writing hours. May our bold voices, bring change - because change is power.

Oh and i also noticed, this week's word limit is 500- 800 words, now how many of us are happy for that?? :) :)

All the best applicants. Let us roar!

so sorry about ur dad.

so sorry about ur dad.

I am having difficulty addressing the topic within the limited word limit.
I guess will have to try working on a bit harder.
Just have too much to write :)

And I am pressed for time as I am very busy with work this week.
Hence have fallen behind on reading and commenting on other people's work.

Hoping to get it done by the deadline.

All the best to you too Mukut. Very sorry to hear about your father. But am thankful that he is stable now.

Regards,
Aminah

Keep going & stay strong.

I know what you are going through, keep the spirit high and believe in God, He will see you through this trying time.

I thought 800 words would be enough, but I was wrong. Although participating in this assignment has taught me a lot, to work within constraints. The ability to put your story out there, concisely and to the point.

Keep roaring and the Pulse fires burning.
My prayers to you and your family. God bless.

Loretta.

A Big Thank You to all

Thank you sisters for your concern and support. Appreciate it. Your words give me strength.

In reference to the word limit of assignment 3, i believe 500-800 words should suffice. Try and highlight the important points, instead of reiterating and going overboard. Yes, i agree there is a LOT to write about girls' education in our communities, but we have to follow the word limit. Concise pieces, divided into separate paragraphs, would garner greater attention and make a better read. All the best !! Shine on :)

Love to all of you.

Pole-Sorry

Hi friend,
Iam happy that your father is now doing well. welcome back for this journey is so interesting.

Lots of love

I for one was excited about the increased word count. Most times I write lengthy articles and then I have to go through the rigorous task of reducing it. In the end, I strike off some parts and leave the most important points.
Yes, we are the change! Let's keep soaring.

Hi Sister, Sorry about your

Hi Sister,
Sorry about your dad's ill health. Hope is much better now?
I am happy about the increase because it is such a verse topic that it won't do to limit it to just 500 words.
Wishing your dad a speedy recovery.
Take care

Nice to know

Dear friend,

I am so glad to hear that the emergency situation you mentioned has been brought under control. I also look forward to reading your Week Three Assignment.

You may wish to know that I posted mine already titled "Urine Powered Generator: “Hush Them Up! Go Girls, Don’t stop!”. But guess what I posted it without including "2013 VOF Week 3" in my tagging. Any idea about how I can effect a correction? Or do I have to re-post the article?

Greetings to your dad!

Thank you

Greengirl,

Thank you for the wishes. He is much better now :-).

In reference to tagging, do not worry. I t is very simple. Simply click on the 'edit' button on top of the page. This opens the edit section, where you can make any changes to your post. On this edit page, just add the tag 2013 VOF Week 3 and click submit button. Your tag will be added and your post remains unchanged.

Hope this helps dear :-)

Best and lots of love
