Introducing myself and my journal: Finding me again

About Me:
Hi there ladies! I just went to my first Lane Peace event with keynote speakers, Jensine Larson, and Jean Kilbourne, on Rise to end gender violence. I just wanted to join this community as soon as I walked out of the room after the seminar. I felt so empowered and motivated to tell my story. I look forward to connecting to women across the country in hopes to send a message and reach out for support for struggling women in Oregon. Specifically in Eugene, Oregon. There is alot more going on here than people think and I have been through alot. After attending this workshop I am determined to share my experiences.

My Passions:
Children, Music and Human Services

My Challenges:
Homelessness

My Vision for the Future:
To have a home and have my daughters returned to live with me

My Areas of Expertise:
Communication and Leadership

Your story i important for us. I encourage you to write on your journal and also explore around on other people’s posts. There are so many wonderful people with such heartfelt stories who we meet over here at World Pulse.

The more we share, the more we learn and in the process we will address issues hampering the growth of women. We are with you.
