Wecome to World Pulse!

Hi Danny,

Welcome to the World Pulse community! You have joined an amazing digital network whose goal is to enable women from all over the world to communicate and collaborate to find solutions to the most challenging and pressing issues facing women today. By nurturing and empowering women at the grass roots level, we can help effect change in individual lives and in communities in every corner of the globe.

I share your passion for maternal and child healthcare and I've spent the past 25 years working with high risk mothers, premature babies and sick children at hospitals in Saudi Arabia and Canada. I commend you for your devotion to an area that needs so much help the world over! It must be especially difficult for you to work in a resource limited environment.

On the WP site, you can read about many thought provoking issues and discover various ways you can take action should you want to. To learn more about how to get started in the WP community, please read The Getting Started Guide:

We love to read about other people's passions, hopes for the future, experiences and life situations so please feel free to share yours with us by writing a journal entry, which you can access under the My Pulse tab.

I've found WP to be an active, supportive community with an empowering message so I encourage you to explore the site and interact with the community. WP provides an excellent and very effective online platform that unites us so that we can become a powerful force for change!

If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a private message and I’ll do my best to help. To send me a private message, go to the My Pulse category, click on My Inbox, then click on Write new message and send it to turtledove100.

Again, welcome and I look forward to hearing your voice in the community!

Kind regards

"Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach" (Clarissa Pinkola Estes, author and poet)
