Solution :

THE COURAGE TO DENOUNCE EVIL IS A WEAPON AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE
I'm Brigitte Mawazo, nurse midwife and mother of three children. I am one of ten leading teams of the network of women called Mom Shujaa DRC Connected World Pulse on the site. I would like to share my personal story about my life professionnelle.je am convinced that my voice reach the 2013 campaign V.Fweek 2 transform my pain and the power of my listeners.
After my brilliant studies at the Higher Institute of Nursing, I had the chance to get married and find employment in non-governmental organizations. (NGOs).
When is a pretty woman in the workplace, there are some facilities but both blocks. I have known men colleagues who gave me any favors just because I was a woman. When I was fat, I sometimes felt unable to go to the supervision of health centers away on foot or motorbike. At that time some male colleagues did voluntarily for me.
But it happened once my supervisor fell in love with me. He started to give me favors, kindness and even gifts just to get me to sleep with him. I have several times refused but he insisted so much that other colleagues began to suspect us.
I had the courage to talk to my husband he learns by avoiding other voices. So my husband went to see this masterpiece in order to discourage and especially ask him to give me peace.
Most unfortunately after that, his love towards me changed into hatred: he would not even talk to me for the purposes of work, he scolded me and gave me unfounded remarks. I was uncomfortable with him because I had the courage to denounce evil and refuse to risk losing my job. He refused to renew my contract. 14 agents, I am the only one who was thanked without sufficient reason.
Solution:
Since the reason of the strongest is always the best in our country, I am dedicated to bring her complaint to court. This bad experience was very discouraged me by giving me hate working with men. I do not have the courage to seek employment wherever men are responsible.
Nevertheless my empowerment and in order to reduce poverty in my family, I opened a credit sale (KIOSK) to small market sayo camp. During my long days chaumage and reflection at home, I had the idea to make something like a women's organization of human rights and development. With my friends we had named "NGABO" in local language means shield. I dream that my organization become a shield of women and children who are often victims of various forms of violence. I want to change my pain, my discouragement creative power. I wish Mr. Karl is bringing other men to understand that they are not essential in the workplace ... that women who work with men do not seek to share their sex to protect their positions. That girls are not discouraged.
This is the voice of Brigitte for our future

You are a star

Brigette,
Your personal story is so touching. Your voice is indeed reaching out to the women and changing their lives. There are very few women who have come out to talk about sexual violence and its effects. It is an opportunity for the women in your community (and the world over) to know and acknowledge that women should not be subjected to sexual harassment, abuse and exploitation.

Indeed, you are the 'NGABO' of the women in your community, you will change the world, one day at at a time.Thank you for being vocal for a genuine cause.

Shield of Freedom

You are so brave to speak out and encourage others to do the same! Sexual harassment in the workplace violates women’s rights and dignity and interferes with women’s ability to contribute to their homes and communities in peace and safety. I am so inspired by your courage and your organization of NGABO bringing your voice, encouragement, and education to your community to protect victims and further women’s right to be free from sexual harassment and violence. Thank you so much for sharing your story and inspiration.

Such courage!

Hi Brigitte, Thank you for sharing your story, such courage!
You truly are a voice for women everywhere to have the courage and say NO to being treated as sex objects and showing them that when women come together, magic happens.
I wish you so much success with your NGABO! May this be a stepping stone to a world where we no longer need to shield ourselves because everyone honors one another... and until then BRAVO for leading the way!

I loved how your wrote:
