This was my dream

I am GLoria Bitomwa a 24 years old woman mother of a baby boy called Ackim. I wanted to be a journaliste since the day i knew that it was this was the only way someone could rich many people at a time while communicating. I am the elders of a familly of 7children, my passion is helping people to express their needs, talking to them with an aim to want to know why they are living in that way. Knowing my passion my dad called Bitomwa Onesiphore met this Girl form her village in the parc of Itombwe, its very far in the massive forest of the eastern congo. This woman was called Neema Namadamu, she introduced her self and talked about world pulse. My lovely Dad come and told that finaly there is a frame or social net work where i could go and expresss my self wit the aim of advocating for various needs we have in our country. My daily work to advocate for various need identied by women in different territories of the south kivu.

That was the departure of the journey, this the place i love being , spending my day reading stories about woman in the all world. i thought was the only one having a story, but now i know and i am convinced that a woman's heart will always be same.
Either African ,american ,asian or europeen we all need our society to improve their dailly actions. what we need is a peaceful living country, a safe home, an environment without toxic stuff, an world where all our kids will go to school, etc

In search for that better world all joined World Pulse , cause we know, we can be heard.

It was really interesting to

It was really interesting to read how your father got in touch with Neema Namadamu and how that led you to apply for the VOF program. Really great to have you on board. Please do write more about your community and how things are for you as a young mother.
Cheers, Katharina

Thank You, Gloria

Dear Gloria,

As a Listener for Voices of Our Future, I've been asked to read your Week 2 assignment, and I thank you for the personal story you have shared. Your love for your father is evident, as is your desire to take action to make your community a better place.

As you write and share your work on World Pulse, you will indeed reach women across the globe and in this way you have already begun to take positive action.

I wish you ongoing motivation, courage and strength!

With Appreciation,

- Sarah

Dear Gloria
sometimes in our countries it seems like we'd better devote ourselves to survive; it's rather unique to find Glorias who're willling to help other people in need.
Please be strong!!!! cheers

It is great that your father was able to provide you with information about World Pulse. It is definately a great place to feel so connected to others that are geographically so far away. You sound very wise for your age and it is impressive how active you are and want to be. I love when you say, "Either African ,american ,asian or europeen we all need our society to improve their dailly actions." It is very true. So many changes need to take place all over the world and with people like you we are one step closer. Thank you so much for sharing and I wish you all the best in the future!!
