My Sweet 15 Girl

Is there anything more precious in my life than my children? Of course not. I am blessed to be alive to see my little girl turn into a sweet 15 year old young lady. What a wonderful opportunity to tell her how proud I am of her, and how much I love to be her mother.

I am coming here today, to this sacred platform of freedom, to raise my voice to say how much love I have in me for all the 15 year old girls in the world who are thriving, and who will change the world and live the change during their lifetime. Whenever my kid asks something, I realize that she has gone a lot further than I ever thought she would go.

She takes my answers, swirls them all around, knots them, just to unknot them once again, and makes completely new thoughts out of my old sayings. She wears me in her hands, but she doesn´t know. She will know though, the first time she feeds a new baby girl sometime in the future.

Wait. She does not want to have babies until she graduates... from graduate school! hahaha. She is different from us. She is holding the moon in her hands right now. Wait. Not only the moon, but the stars and the sun as well! But she doesn´t know yet. She will know the first time she speaks to an audience of girls like herself who are as eager as she is to become the new leaders of the feminine earth.

Maybe it is not too late for humanity. Maybe it is only the beginning of a new life era, where people will listen to their sweet 15 girls like I do, and will rejoice thinking that with girls like these ones, there is earth for millions of years ahead.

She teaches me new things every day. She teaches me how to make friends, how to dance with her father, how to love a new little plant just born, and how to make a heavy day make sense when she comes home dancing around.

In Bolivia we throw a big party for our girls turning into young ladies. This party usually gets emotional because she dances a waltz with her father for the first time.

I have decided that maybe, just maybe, I will change something in the party. Maybe I will also dance with my daughter. Maybe I will be the first mother to tell her daughter that it doesn´t matter how old I am, I am still young enough to dance! hahaha.

I want to thank the Lord for giving me all I have, and want to thank all of you for reading my small chat. I want to thank the universe for giving us World Pulse, so that we can come and share how proud we are to have, these wonderful young, sweet 15 girls at home.

How about having an online celebration for our girls? We are in a campaign to talk about them, so we might as well also celebrate them!

Cheers, hugs, and lots of energy to my young, sweet 15s all over the world!

Hooray for young girls!

What a delightful tribute to your daughter. The fact that she is so beautiful on the inside is a testament of you as her mother. I join you in celebrating all of the young women from 5 to 90 who have contributed in their own unique ways to this world of ours and have made life a little bit easier and more pleasant for those around them.

Hurray for girls!

Yes indeed. turning 15 is a wonderful time. Just today I reread the packet of info you sent to me several years ago. Been holding loving thoughts for you. Thanks for writing this. So good to hear from you.

Hi K-lee

It is so good to hear from you too!

You are well remembered my dear friend. Now we have a lot of issues to speak about while celebrating our girls.

Let us go on honey. New days are ahead and we must go on. We must be the change we want to see, as Gandhi said once.

Let us fly high, high in the stars. Let us rejoice with our girls.

Love,

Jackie

I was so moved by what you wrote regarding your daughter. What a beautiful perspective and how powerful it must be to watch her move through the world and create new pathways. She is lucky to have such a strong and wise woman for a mother.
Thank you for sharing,
Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn

Thank you for reading and following this movement in this Liberty Platform that World Pulse is dear Jocelyn. We need to acknowledge the young, make them feel our love, with the "touchable" kind of love, as a friend used to say.

Hugs my sweet Jocelyn!

wow!

I have not seen a mother love like this; if we all loved the 15 year old and all teenagers and listened to then, i do not think they would go through so much in life, i think it would be easier for them than it was for us.

I hope you did dance with her :)

You are a beautiful woman and a beautiful mother, with so much love to give. I pray that it affects those who are around you to love with a genuine love like you have portrayed in your piece.

Love.

Hi Smothyz

Thank you for lifting my spirit in such a lovely way!

I am very, very tired today because I worked really hard so my spirits were low, and when I read your words, my world was filled up with new sparks!

I also pray that I can affect people around me to love the way I love my family, my daughter and all my friends in World Pulse, because when they do, they will surely feel more thankful than ever for the good things life will present to them. It is just natural that when you have love and you give it away, someone will also love you the same way.

I am sending you some of my love in the form of an energetic hug my dear!

Lots of blessings to you!

Love,

Jackie

i pray that love may saturate all of us as well and with such love we can make a change into others lives.

continue to be infectious even when you are tired, just take a deep breadth and think of memories you've made with your family and smile.

Love!

Dear Jacqueline, your post brought tears to my eyes. It just so badly reminds me of my own mother. Im staying in a different city, far from my home town due to my job and I cant see her as often as i want to. Im not a mother yet, but I know how a mother feels for her daughter. I found your post filled with love and affection and if my mother would ever write anything for me, i swear it would be as wonderful as this. All the mothers speak universal language of love. Thank you for this lovely piece. God bless you and your Sweet 15. <3<3

jap21's picture

Hi Sangita

It is always hard to have your mother away from you. Hope you can visit her more often. She will rejoice with your company. Nothing compares to mother - daughter hugs.

God bless you lots for loving your mother the way you do.

Love,

Jackie

You are a beautiful mother

Hello Jackie,

How often I think of you and wonder how you are doing. I'm thrilled that you will be an Editorial Mentor this year. Your writing is full of love and poetry and passion and caring for all the young women who will follow in your footsteps. What you said on the call today, "You cannot love what you don't know" is so very true. It makes me contemplate my relationship with my 26 year-old-daughter. I wish I had had your wisdom when she was just 15. You remind me, it's never too late.

Bless you, dear Jackie,

Sally

jap21's picture

Hi Sally

Oh boy! I didn´t realize it was my dear Sally who was speaking in the call this morning! I am so glad that we meet again! We are meant to be nearer my friend!

Thank you for reading me. I am glad to have you near in the Mentors´ team, so that I have someone lovely to reach out to whenever we might need it!

Your daughter is there for you. As she grows older, she will become you. Yes. You. And she will be even more proud than ever to have you near. And it will be just like when was 15: awesome.

Love,

Jackie

Good Work!

What a beautiful story about your daughter! Your passion and integrity came through in your piece. Great work!

In the future, remember how important it is to avoid conflicts of interest by avoiding interviewing family members, close friends or other people you share close associations with.

Good job!

Best,
Maura
