Introducing myself and my journal: Young With a Difference

About Me:
I am a young college student in Seoul South Korea, i started working as a young Journalist when i was 14. I was a voice of the many voiceless children in my country the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through a weekly radio show, my team and I would discuss about issues that our fellow children are facing in a post war period. Since then i have developped a deep interest concerning a fight for human rights, especially those for women, because that's where lays the root of everything. It's hard or pratically impossible to remain silent and stay insensitive to what is going in my country. As a young woman , the difference starts when we decide to leave our comfort zone and to speak for those who are only asking for life and protection. My passion is people and my bold dream is that my country Congo will change, and us;people can do that. In fact, it's already happening.

My Passions:
Reading and Writing

My Challenges:
Raising awareness among youth

My Vision for the Future:
To bring hope to a hopeless generation, a result of not knowing their rights and true value.

My Areas of Expertise:
Communication, events planning.

Welcome to World Pulse!

Dear Noella,

You have joined us at a great time. We just launched our new Campaign Girls Transform the World which is about access to education and also sharing important stories about the important women influencers in your life. I hope you feel inspired to share with us.

Last year, look at our Past Campaigns, our campaign was on Ending Violence Against Women and we had a special focus in the Congo. There are many inspiring stories there and I hope you are able to connect with your fellow countrywomen.

You are brave for having moved to a foreign country and pursuing your passions. Please share your stories with us, so as you learn from other's in the World Pulse community, we also learn from you!
