I just joined (with all the energies of just joining) and when I clicked on Uganda Cafe, I was hoping to find a wealth of articles and journal entries :(

So I am writing this in the hope that some group members would actually be re-interested in using this forum to discuss gender in Uganda. And no, not just because of the Marriage and Divorce Bill.

Good reminder Becca

Thanks Rebecca, I have provided a link to some of the issues I have written. I still dont have the skill to connect my articles to other pages. But thanks for waking us up.

Not a problem

You're welcome. I hope that you DO stay awake. I have read your piece and continued the discussion.

I think that it is important for us to take advantage of the community to discuss issues and within our different capacities, we would effect better change that way. Anyway, I am probably preaching to the choir :)

There is some good pieces in different people's journals, but it is much better to aggregate where possible so that you only need to click on Uganda Cafe to find out about what the Uganda woman is talking about now.

Great idea

I love the idea of having content aggregated so it's easy to find. World Pulse is working on developing country and topic specific "hub pages" like you're describing. This way, you can go to one page and find all the content related to that region or theme. Hopefully this will make it easier to find what you're most interested in and allow you to network more easily.

I welcome your ideas and suggestions!
