Proud to be a woman

african_woman.jpg

I stand tall as a woman,
mother to the world,
mentor and friend,
hero to the children.

A woman of immense ability,
contributor to the society,
a homemaker,
a just human.

Strength so alluring,
mind set encapsulating and intrigued,
a builder of societal values
a moralist.

Women,lets fight,
to build the nation,
of children with greater values,
to groom a better society.

What a powerful poem. Keep on

What a powerful poem. Keep on writing.

Read your vision about helping women to get basic education and skills. There are models of adult literacy education that won;t require the students to report daily to a school and a teacher. The Home Study Program works for adults who are engaged in productive and reproductive work and wants to study in their own space and time.

Good luck to you.

Thanks sister

Thank u my sister, the problem in nigeria is the fact that most of this poor women don't even know what a computer is and cant access them due to power surge, so reporting to the small size class room to learn is the option available now, even if they don't want to go through the classroom structure, various skills will be taught to help improve their standard of living through empowerment.
