Hi Sefakor!

From your profile description, it sounds like you will fit right in here. I, too, work with children and find constant inspiration through them, especially when they use their voices! It also sounds like you have a great project and vision in mind, and WP is a network that can help you attain them.

Please be sure to write a journal entry, either pasting your profile into the entry, or writing a short piece on a passion or vision. We would love to hear how you heard about WP, and what drew you to the organization, or more about the school you'd like to build. That way, other WP members can comment or reply.

You may also want to explore the WP site to see all the exciting things going on and ways to take action. I have found the quickest way to enter into this community is to click on the "Voices Rising" link, which is under the "PulseWire" tab near the top of the screen. From there you can easily access and read journal entries, and perhaps make a comment in reply. In order to add people to your community, click on the person's name. You will be taken to their profile, and can click on the 'add to my community' link under their photo.

Be sure to check out this link for many other ways to be involved with WP:

One more thing: It seems that you have an already begun to act on your vision of connecting and communicating. You may want to look at the Voices of our Future program starting soon. It is a wonderful way to get involved, and possibly be chosen as one of about 30 women to receive more training, tools, and using media to make your voice and visions heard! http://worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups/63653

We are glad you found us, and look forward to interacting with you!

my vision

Thank you Michelle .I must say that i am already begining to enjoy being part of this community .Everyone seems to care.
The name of my village is Abusakofe.it is in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region of Ghana. It is a very small village with little population .
There is no school there and all the children including those from sarounding villages walk long distances to school in a nabouring village . I have always thought that if there is at least a primary school in my village ,those children will not walk that distance to school .This will bring a lot of upliftment to the village.
I am a very young woman who wants more empowerment to be able to undertake this project.I am hoping to get that empowerment from WP .
Thank you.
peace
