NUBIAS WOMEN

I channel the spirits of all the women who fought for my Afrika,
the mothers, the slaves taken forcibly.
The mothers left in the villages by their urban trekking men.
The gals who threw stones alongside the boys in the struggle.
The female exiled, raped.
I channel the fearless woman of yesterday.
She says to the strong, battered woman of today.
Take charge & remember no one will hand power to you,
you must take it.

I am so happy you have joined us.
Thank you for these powerful words. American feminist pioneer Mary Wollstonecraft said: “I do not wish [women] to have power over men, but over themselves.”
I look forward to reading more from you about your thoughts, hopes and dreams for the women you are channeling. I am also glad you have applied for the World Pulse VOF Program. Your voice is vital to raising awareness of what is happening in Zambia.
In peace and with best wishes,
Janice
THANK YOU
Thank you JaniceW, here is my blog link so you can keep updated with my posts
http://arushapot.blogspot.com/. Mary had a point because the whole essence of feminism is not to battle men but for us to conquer our battles.
Thank you
