About Me:
Working for Sri Lanka Department of Agriculture (SLDOA) as an ICT for Agriculture specialist since 2003 after completing BSc degree in Agriculture from the University of Peradeniya. Since then I have involved in several ICT agriculture projects namely establishment of cyber extension units/ telecentres dedicated for agriculture information dissemination in the country, production of Interactive multimedia CDs on agriculture, development of the official website of the SLDOA and an Interactive web tool known as wikigoviya which won World Summit Award, Cairo, Egypt. (http://www.wsis-award.org/winner/wikigoviya-77420110609), Presently, I have been working for the School of Agriculture nestling under the Department of Agriculture as a Lecturer.
