Introducing myself and my journal: What if we got it all wrong from the start???????
About Me:
i am called Leila Kigha a young Cameroonian Journalist based in Douala, Cameroon.
I am an experienced broadcast journalist and Public Relations Person with a genuine love for the profession. I currently working as a radio journalist for Christ FM and a freelance editor for Nyangaa Publications and a consultant for CONRAD; a development organization.
My responsibilities at these stations as well as other engagements have given me a wider exposure and experience with the society as I had to work with several Ministries, Embassies and International Organizations in Cameroon.
All of the above professional experiences as well as my personal convictions and beliefs have brought me to a point where i can confidently say: we got it all wrong from the start!!
Women, girls, children, everybody! we missed out on the essentials and have for the past years been majoring on minors while minoring on majors.
I personally believe our voices as women, administrators and managers can be heard if we can take a journey back to where it all began......God!!
My Passions:
Reading Music, travels, GOD!
My Challenges:
getting this message of identity crisis out!!
My Vision for the Future:
A world of Confident women and daughters nd sisters!!
My Areas of Expertise:
Communication, Consultancy, Public speaking,Event management etc
