Football

The country is abuzz with the upcoming 2010 Soccer World Cup here in South Africa. And since 1994, the country has made great legislative strides in the empowerment of women. As a general rule, life as a woman in this country, is a lot easier than in most other places in the world, not quite so repressive. But I wonder when and how women's football will recieve as much awe, wonder, excitement and even funding as this event is attracting and will women be able to pull crowds as equitable as those that female tennis players enjoy with their male counterparts?
