Introducing myself and my journal: FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION

About Me:
My name is Janes. I was born and brought up in Kenya by Christian parents I went to school in Kenya , of course in the rural areas where girls didn't have equal rights with boys. I was particularly saddened by what girls of my time were subjected to; female genital mutilation. At that time, I did not know the effects of F.G.M, a fact the made me to write a journal about it.

My Passions:
To empower the girl child ttrough education

My Challenges:
Culture and poverty

My Vision for the Future:
To change the old tradion that discourages education for girls

My Areas of Expertise:
Early childhood education
