LEADERSHIP AND EMPOWERNMENT/LE RETOUR A BUKAVU DU DOCTEUR DENIS MUKWEGE

Enfin, le Docteur Denis Mukwege est de retour à Bukavu. Son arrivée a constitué un évènement de haute envergure pour la population du Sud-Kivu qui est allée en masse, se poster sur les grandes artères depuis l'aéroport de Kavumu jusqu'a l'hôpital général de référence de Panzi. La marée humaine qui est allée à sa rencontre était constituée des femmes de toutes les tendances confondues qui sont allées à la rencontre de leurs fils, leur médecin, leur papa, selon que chacune d'elle s'exprimait dans la joie de la retrouvaille.
Pour ce qui concerne les Mamans Shujaa, une activité d'Actions de grâce à l'Eternel tout-puissant venait d'être réalisée hier à Bukavu. Les femmes Leaders se sont retrouvées avec plusieurs autres femmes, parmi elles les victimes des violences sexuelles et celles basées sur le genre dans un cadre appelé "alliance franco-congolaise où l'invité de marque était le Docteur Mukwege.
Les participants à ce rendez-vous ont loué l'Eternel pour avoir protégé notre hôte pendant tout son séjour d'exil.
Des prières d'intercession ont été dites pour la circonstance.
Madame Wilhermine avait été la modératrice de ce jour, elle a à cet effet présenté le mot d'accueil aux participants.
Madame Jeanette quant à elle a supervisé les prières d'action de grâce, lecture biblique , chansons, prières d'intercession.
Madame Madeleine a à son tour présenté une allocution en vue de rappel à opinion sur les nombreux services que ce protagoniste et vaillant fils du Pays rend à la population. Par ailleurs, elle a présenté les réalisations de World Pulse à travers son partenariat avec les mamans shujaa. L'allocution présentée pour la circonstance vous sera envoyée in extenso pour qu'elle soit publiée.
Madame Neema représentante de World Pulse a adressé un mot de circonstance aux participants.
Les autres mamans shujaa avaient avaient exercé le rôle protocolaire.
Tel est en bref, le résumé de l'activité se rapportant aux Actions de grâce rendues à l'Eternel pour le retour à Bukavu de ce vaillant serviteur du peuple de Dieu .
Nous informons que ce retour constitue un soulagement pour toute la population en général et plus particulièrement pour les femmes.Certaines victimes attendaient son retour pour qu'elles subissent des interventions chirurgicales. Parmi les participantes, certaines se sont exprimées quant à la situation dans laquelle elles se sont retrouvées après le viol, grâce aux interventions du Docteur, elles ont retrouvés la vie et aujourd'hui, elles redeviennent utile à leurs familles et pour la société.
N.B Cependant, les femmes du Sud-Kivusollicitent l'appui sécuritaire de la communauté Internationale pour que cet évènement macabre ne se reproduise plus à l'avenir.

Finally, Dr Denis Mukwege is back to Bukavu. His arrival was a major event for the high population of South Kivu who went to mass, to walk on the main roads from the airport Kavumu to the general hospital of Panzi. The human chain that went out to meet him consisted of women from different backgrounds who have gone to meet what they consider as their son, their doctor, dad. Each of them expressed the joy of the reunion.
Regarding Mama Shujaa, an activity had been made yesterday in Bukavu thanks to the Lord Almighty. Women Leaders found themselves with several other women, among them victims of sexual violence and gender based violence in a meeting called "Franco-Congolese alliance” where the guest speaker was Dr. Mukwege.
Participants at this meeting praised the Lord for protecting our host during his exile.
Intercessory prayers were said for the occasion.
Mrs. Wilhermine was the moderator of this day, she presented the event and welcomed the participants.
Madame Jeanette supervised as the prayers, Bible reading, songs, prayers of intercession.
Madame Madeleine delivered a speech to remind the public opinion about the many services that the protagonist and valiant son of the country makes to the population. She also presented the achievements of World Pulse through its partnership with Mama Shujaa. The address given for the event will be sent in full to have it published.
Ms Neema, World Pulse representative, said as well a word to the participants.
Other Mama Shujaa had exercised the ceremonial role.
So this is in brief, a summary of the activities related to the thanks sent to the Lord after the return to Bukavu of this valiant servant of God's people.
We note that the return is a relief for all the people in general and especially for women. Some of the victims waiting for his return they underwent surgery. Among the participants, some have talked about the situation in which they found themselves after the rape. Thanks to the intervention of the Doctor, they found life and today, they are useful to their families and to society.
NB However, the women of South Kivu are asking secure support from the international community so that this macabre event does not happen again in the future.
