Nul n'ignore l'attaque violente contre le Dr Mukwege, ce qui a occasionnée la mort de sa sentinelle. Lui et sa famille furent évacué en Belgique pour raison de sécurité. Cependant, le Dr voudrait rentrer au Congo, qu Kivu, à Bukavu, à Panzi travailler auprès de ses malades. Dans le cadre des préparatif de son retour, aujourd'hui, samedi, 12 janvier 2013, s'est tenu une conférence de presse de presse dans la salle de réunion de l'hôpital de Panzi. Le Dr FUNDIKO, médecin directeur ai a montré l'objectif de la conférence "annoncer à la population le retour du Dr MUKWEGE".
Le Dr Mukwege est le médecin directeur de l'hôpital de Panzi, coordinateur des œuvres médicales de sa communauté la 8ème CEPAC, président du CA de la Fondation Panzi. Il a initié plusieurs projets notamment celui du BVES pour les victimes survivants des violences sexuelles par leur prise en charge holistique, un autre qui s"occupe des P V V , orphelins du VIH/SIDA, maternité sans risque ainsi de suite, ,,,,,,il a dèjà opéré 40 mille femmes cas des violences sexuelles.....
Il rompu le silence au sujet de la stratégie des viols comme arme de guerre, crime de guerre contre l'humanité dont notre constitution parle et aussi le Traité de Rome.responsable, meneur d'hommes, sa renommée est allée au delà de nos frontières." Il a reçu plusieurs prix de l'extérieur sans aucun de notre ni même un message d'encouragement car ce n'est pas seulement l'argent qu'on peut donner à quelqu'un pour le soutient moral". Après les questions des journalistes locaux de Bukavu , il s'avère que:
-. Il ne se reproche rien
-. Il n' a pas des problèmes avec personne
-. Il a décidé seul son retour en âme et conscience
En ce qui concerna sa sécurité,
- Le gouverneur a promis d'affecter une garde de protection à l'hôpital de par sa fonction et de ses collègues
- Ses sorties et ses visites seront réglées et logera à l'hôpital
- Il consultera désormais avec une secrétaire infirmière comme ailleurs
- Renforcement des mesures de contrôles pour les visiteurs à l’hôpital (outils de contrôle)
Pour la plainte contre inconnue, on suppose que les autorités sont entrain de mener des enquêtes et surtout qu'il y a mort d’homme. La communauté International demande au gouvernement d'assurer la garde rapprochée, pas seulement aux médecins mais aussi à toute la population (Garde collective). Aussi, "la Campagne Internationale pour mettre fin aux viols et violence sexuelle en situation de conflit appelle la RDCongo à prendre toutes les mesures nécessaires pour protéger le Dr Mukwege et toute sa famille lors de leur retour à Bukavu ce lundi prochain."
Pendant son absence, l'hôpital a fonctionné normalement car c'est une institution organisée néanmoins on a besoin de sa présence pour continuer à subvenir de plu en plus aux besoins de ses malades, il ne veut pas être un héros mort, il veut rester avec son staff, sa famille, au Kivu car c'est sa terre natale a dit le MD ai.Tous en commun accord, nous prions à toute la population de rester derrière lui, le soutenir et lui réserver un accueil chaleureux ce lundi 14 janvier 2013, il atterrira à Kavumu vers 13 heures heures de Bukavu. Soyez le bien venu Dr Mukwege, que Dieu continue à te protéger et te combler des ses bénédictions avec tous les malades et toute la population congolaise en générale. "Nous tant soif de voir finir ces barbaries, ces atrocités, qui ont duré voici 16 ans. A la MONUSCO de bien jouer son rôle auprès de la population congolaise à Walikale, on a violé 250 femmes un week end non loin du camps de la MONUSCO:!!!!. le Dr rentre se battre contre les causes des guerres incessantes car jusque-là, il se battait seulement contre les conséquences" Interview TV5 du samedi, 12 janvier 2013.

Je veux te remercier pour faire briller la lumière sur les événements actuels de Bukavu, je suis tellement excitée d'apprendre que le Dr Mukwege sera de retour dans son pays natal et qu’il peut continuer à contribuer à la lutte pour mettre fin à la violence envers les femmes. Il sonne comme un leader précieux, et grâce à votre voix, vous avez circulé les progrès réalisés, même s'il y a de nombreux obstacles à surmonter, vous donnez aux gens un sentiment d'espoir et de courage.

Comment a-t-il été reçu le Dr Mukwege par les gens de Bukavu? Est-il dans un environnement sécuritaire?

Thank you for shining some light on the current events of Bukavu, I am so excited to hear that Dr. Mukwege will be returning to his native land and continue to help fight to end violence towards women. He sounds like a valuable leader, and thanks to your voice, you have spread the progress being made, even though there are many obstacles to overcome, you are giving people a sense of hope and courage.

How was Dr. Mukwege received by the people? Is he in a safe setting?
