INSECURITE DANS LES VILLAGES OCCUPES PAR LES GROUPES ARMES ET LES MILICES.

INTRODUCTION

Insecurity in villages occupied by armed groups and militia

Introduction
The Congolese population living in villages has become nomadic as a result of massacres committed by armed forces. Some peasants are treated like animals, raised and driven for money through forced work.
Men and women don’t return to the countryside for fear of being killed by criminals.
Young boys and girls are victims of enslavement and rape.
Development
1) The multiplicity of armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo causes total insecurity. In reality, the number of people who die every day in the Congolese territory and the East in particular is not even known. Some are killed directly, others lose their lives through disease since they lack access to treatments. Others perish through starvation.
2) The militia who are paid dishonestly are the source of the mistreatment of many citizens who simply want to defend their rights. One man was shot because he did not yield to the men who were taking his cows and goats. He received a gunshot to the forehead and die in front of his wife and children. So much sadness for one family!

Merci beaucoup autrefois.
