Introducing myself and my journal: Hope Sightings

About Me:
I am a 41-year-old stay-at-home mom with a passion for girls and women. It is my driving passion that girls and women around the world will be truly cherished and enabled to live their lives as God intended, not under the weight of oppression and injustice. I also have a heart for those suffering from fistula and co-founded Hope for Our Sisters, Inc. (www.hopeforoursisters.org) to raise awareness and support for the girls and women living under the weight of this hope-destroying, yet preventable, condition. After raising funds to provide for 100 fistula surgeries, we are working on new goals to not only provide for treatment but to support preventative efforts as well.
