This is not a traffic accident but a Congolose brother who was slaughtered by the M23 rebels in the DRC Eastern region. It is awful to see the city changed into a butchery, having only the sound of bullets for music, to be blocked somewhere and only have one sort of food, and it is disturbing to think you are gonna die and see your friends and relatives being killed. We do not want to get back to it, we wanna live in peace and only peace, where women would not be raped, where human rights would be respected, where children are protected, where the rule of might would not be the rule anymore. We must unite and seek peace. There is an African proverb that says “kidole kimoja hakiwezi ku vinja chawa” which means “only one finger cannot kill a louse”. Union is strength.

mon Dieu...

Bonsoir Joelle,

Aurore
