Introducing myself and my journal: REFORMATION OF SCHOOL/COLLEGE SYLLABUS FROM JOB ORIENTED TO CHARACTER BUILDING

About Me:
hon'ble sir/madam
with deep adoration and humble reverence& regards i am writting to your goodself.sir in THIS WORLD there is huge crime (against woman and all)& huge corruption. everybody is crying to stop crime &corruption by way of law and agitation but no one is knowing the rootcause. in my veiw point the rootcause is our educational syllabus in school/college which is mainly job oriented but not character building. to stop crime &corruption we have to change the school/college syllabus from job oriented to character building . and this can only happen if we include bhagwat gita,koran,bibel etc in our school and college syllabus, as 2nd mil so that each pupil can choose one as per his choice or as per his religion so that our pupil can build their character. my argument in favour of the above is that if we observe a vedic pass out student we found that he is not at all in the mentality of crime &^corruption throughout his life or a little because of his study. so we must reform our school /college syllabus by including the above mythological books as there is no other way and no agitation or no law can stop crime &corruption. plz analyise my view point and share your views.

In response to your About Me paragraph, I think you have some interesting analysis. Surely crime and corruption are big problems, and I think that your solution is one possible route to changing behaviors---education is a powerful tool. Personally I think that the world's religions can offer good advice for how to treat each other, but they're not the only way. For example, some scientists have shown that cooperative behaviors are "hard-wired" into us as a survival instinct, but maybe cultural norms/patterns can over-ride this. Just another perspective on the issue!

have you heard about any scientist has or had derived any formula to stop corruption or crime. i feel that scientific analysis is not the solutuion and is a waste of time when we have readymade solutuion by our forefathers .so please think over the matter and all will find that except religion there be will no solution which is generating due our moving away from the right path shown by our fore fathers a long back.

I agree Jayanta that schools in India, focus more( and most of the times unfairly) on getting the "right job" after school/college,neglecting character building and other personality aspects which help us to make better citizens.
I hope you share more solution oriented thoughts about curbing corruption and violence against women.

as most of the government bodies across the world don't heed to our demands of reforming school/college syllabus from job oriented to character building.
we must do it ourselves,
and the best way to reform the next generation and through them their parents,society,district ,state and the whole country to distribute moral building,character building etc books, and the books which were tested time and again, and they are our mythological books,like bhagwat gita,koran,bibel,gurugranth sahib etc. and the distribution shoud be from the extra money which we spent futile like drinking,shopping and other unnecessary expenditure which can be cut down.if each one can share a little(1 dollar or Rs 500/-) per year ,then it can create a movement .
