Greetings to my female friends around the world,

It’s a regret announcing you this sad news. A 26 years old female albinos was killed and certain parts of her body notably her breasts, in the Shabunda territory In the Democratic Republic of Congo on September 17 2012 for refusing to reveal the hiding place of her albinos younger sister. These evil doers escaped after their act.

Given that life is a right to each and evryone and not a favour, the Congolese Government should respect the law.

-They should assure the protection of the albino

-The younger sister of the deceased should be protected and if need be given shelter.

I love you all so much;

Femme, garde espoir!!!!

Ghandi once said it will all get well at the end, and if it doesn't get well, then it is not yet the end.

Respect for the differences

Dear Namavu,

this is disgraceful. Fear and violence against what is different is not only a violaton of human rights but also an extreme form of ignorance.

The Congolese governement should get involved in the protection of whoever is different and educate the people on respect for every sort of life.

We can do our part too by increasing awareness and sharing stories like you did so that things like this one won't happen again.

In solidarity,

Mariavittoria

Unjust

I'm so sorry to hear about this event. Not only does this speak to the violence against women, but also against people with congenital conditions. It is a violation of human rights, and my heart goes out to these two women.

Please, continue to speak out about these issues. Stories like these allow others to understand the scope of the violence.

je vous aime beaucoup aussi.
merci,
Hannah
