Faith and spirit
To my dear Pulse wire community,I am back after I took a break.Thank you so much for your great efforts in making Pulse wire a grater voice of women around the world.I am proud to raise my voice as a woman and a member of Pulse Wire;;;;A WOMAN IS THE PILLAR OF PEACE AND THE STRENGTH OF A HOME WHICH EVOLVES INTO A NATION.My sisters,it has been difficult for me to go through what I have gone through.I gave my strength like a woman who is in labor to have a new born baby,no matter the pain;the baby has to be born. From our topic of HOLDING HANDS-I have made it by strong women and men holding my hands;;;;;Ket wangi is now born and the strong brothers and sisters around the world are making sure that I get food for me and the baby,I thank them so much and I hope you will join them in taking care of this baby and the mother.Find my full story in http/ketwangiwordpress.com.Let us continue holding hands and go with the motto of never give up;all things are possible in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,be blessed;Amen

welcome back
Dear Emily,
Thank you for 'coming back' and sharing your story! I shall read your other entries so I know your story. It sounds like you are a woman of courage and strength. I would like to know more about violence against woman from your perspective and what is being done to empower women.
May you and your child and family be safe.
Beverly
Thank you so much
Hello Beverly,
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging message.I come from Western Kenya at the shore of Lake Victoria,my Native tribes men are fisher men and the majority are still submitting to their old traditional beliefs that has hindered us from getting on with development,my father was so courageous to take me to school,as those days it was believed that a girl should not be taken to school but should be given to marriage at a early age as age 12-13 years.I am soon posting a journal on my perspective on violence and need to empower women,!!!!!stay tuned.May the Almighty God be with you,Amen.

Congratulations!
Hello Emily! I read about Ket Wangi on your blog. You are a true warrior - fighting for and defending our most vulnerable citizens. Thank you for providing love and shelter for these innocent children orphaned by the violence in Kenya. Your work is a testament to your faith and spirit and will hopefully inspire others to join your cause. I look forward to hearing more from you. Love, peace and blessings!!

Wow!
Emily,
After reading your post I was inspired to learn more about your story, and went to your website.
What you are doing is truly incredible. I cannot think of a single person I know who would be willing to give so much of themselves as you have done.
Yours is an amazing story! Please keep sharing!

Hi Caroline,
Thank you so much for this encouraging message.God gave us a Manual to follow in everything we do!!!Here is his instruction;;-Share your food with the hungry, take the poor and homeless into your house, and cover them with clothes when you see them naked,do not refuse to help your relatives.Who am I to refuse not to follow the way of the Lord?Read this from the Holy Bible;;-Isiah;58;verse-7.Let us follow the WORD of God to heal the world,Amen.
