Hello WorldPulse friends,

With regret, we still are sending you a message about the situation happening always in our country the Democratic Republic of Congo.
One family was working in the field when uniformed men infiltrated. Rwandan Hutus came in masses and raped the woman in front of her husband and children, then they tortured the husband and children.
Now while we speak to you, the woman is gravely ill and she has no way to get better.
We leave the intervention to you, our WorldPulse community.
Thank you.

Be strong

My friend, I am saddened to hear of this story. There is no excuse for the treatment that has befallen your friends and family. You are right to bring this story to the attention of this online community and you should find others who will listen and possibly help this poor woman. Do not be discouraged, you are strong and with others you can build your strength even more. Continue to reach out, men, women, political leaders, whoever might have resources to bring. Yours is the struggle for rightiousness, do not be discouraged. Be strong!

Love and support from afar

Thank you for reaching out. This is a truly sad story and it makes us realize the level of gender violence around the world. It also reminds us of the new responsibility that come with modern technology. We are now able to connect to people on the other side of the world. Instead of using this technology to spread hate or useless information we should be using to to lend a hand and help others. Tell this woman that there is a world of people supporting her and wishing for her recovery.
