I was reading the story of the women from the women of The DRC and I am downright angry!!! I am angry because our government seems to care for women suffering in countries like The DRC, India, and other countries around the world.
I have to take this minute to vent because it hurt me to my core as I read these stories. I was so happy I took the opportunity to participate in this program. I really thank the founder of World Pulse for taking on these issues.

It angers me and saddens me too but these stories need to be told and heard.

The fact that it has stir a chord somewhere in your heart and mine, is the proof that we feel deeply about these pressing issues.

Let us put our emotions to best use and help in bringing these stories to light.

Yes, let it out Kadeen! It is a natural response to the things we're reading I think. In the face of such injustice, if we didn't get angry something might be wrong.

Moving from that anger into connection, and advocacy is the big next step that I'm working on. As Mukut says, helping raise awareness more broadly is a great way to do that.
