Introducing myself and my journal: WOMEN. WE MAIN!

About Me:
'God could not be everywhere and so He created mothers (translated, women)'. In one sentence, that Jewish saying summarizes just how important women are: to me, to the whole world. I am one of them. Born 28 years ago to a Kenyan father and an Ameri...oops...a Kenyan mother, i was a 'lovable' child. But not loved by all of course. My father did and so did my mother but I'm not so sure about the teachers at the boarding school i joined when i was nine. Nonetheless, i grew up to enjoy writing, reading, acting, poetry, and working with children. I am now a trained television producer/director, in charge of children and youth productions. They say a tree's best bent whilst young. Maybe we can make this society better by bringing up 'better children'.

My Passions:
PERFORMING ARTS, POETRY, CULTURE, TRAVELLING

My Challenges:
TOO LITTLE TIME, TOO MUCH TO DO. IMPATIENCE.

My Vision for the Future:
A world where none is judged by what's below the belt, but what's above the neck.

My Areas of Expertise:
CHILDREN, TELEVISION PRODUCTION AND DIRECTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, CULTURE, LIFESTYLE, RELATIONSHIPS, ART

The God in Women!

Yes Yes! I loved that beautiful quote you included. I believe so much in the power of mothers and the way we nurture and raise our children on a global level. Thank you for remindng me. I have a dear friend in Brazil who is a mother with very similar attitudes. I would love to find a way to get her onto pulsewire and connected with you!
With love,
Jocelyn

Hello Jocelyn!
I should be shot. No please. Don't shoot me. I went off for a while after joining pulsewire but thanks to people like you, i am back and here to stay. You are right in believing in the power of mothers. I had one and i am one now and it's the most amazing experience. I will be glad to make your friend's acquaintance.

Kind regards,
ATIENO
