Thanks for sharing that
Hi dear,
Thanks for sharing that to all of us here. This may seem so little amidst thousands of such incidents and even more worse to happen. Ending in death and other mishaps adds fuel to the fire. Lets work hard to stop this.
Every drop counts.
Hugs.

Culture disrespects teen girl
Nl Ni, thank you for sharing this story. It isn't fair treatment and points out that girls have no human rights in Burma, doesn't it? I suspect women aren't treated much better. Thanks again for sharing.
Glad to hear from you
Hi William
Thank you so much for thinking of our girls. There are many similar sad stories like this ,but not in every place.Actually some people tried to save the girl and denounced the man and the decision of the judge. I hope women will have better lives soon.

Speaking out
NI NI,
Fourteen years old and this girl has been robbed of so much! It is good to hear that there were people who tried to save the girl and denounced the man. I am curious - was the man shamed amongst his community? How is the girl treated now?
Thank you for sharing this story.
Best,
Laura
Hi Laura
Hi Laura
Thanks for writing to me. I am not sure how the man feels but I am sure that most of the people notes it a scandal abuse. I am also sadly to say some people might criticize that 14 years-old girl too. Now she is working as a sale girl in a big market and she has plan to marry a man working in that market soon , I have heard .
Hugs

Hello NI NI
Thank you so much for sharing this devastating story with us. It is so very upsetting to think that this poor girl was looked down upon by her community because circumstances beyond her control. I hope that she finds peace and love and acceptance in life. I hope that she can find good and loving and kind human beings to be in her life. I am glad she has found work and hopefully a husband. Please continue to share her story. I am sure she would be glad if her suffering could someday help others in her country from being so mistreated.

Provide Awareness to Female Teens
Hi NI NI,
Thanks for sharing this story, sadly this kind of thing happens everywhere even in the developed nations.
Female teenagers are often fooled by love and taken advantage of. Teens should be better educated of such
consequences. Parents and society should play their role in helping troubled teens.
Keep writing!
You are really inspiring!
