HOPE

"Hope is not a destination. Is not the journey. Hope is the lens through which we see our lives. Turns gray to color, widens our view, gives depth of field, so that we can gracefully move through our lives."
-Michelle Foxx Meloche

This came to me a few nights ago as I was NOT thinking about said topic. After grappling for years to define what hope is for me, it came in the quiet. In the space of not-thinking. Of just being. I will need to wipe the lens clean every now and then. Keep the dust off to prevent distortion of the view. I am grateful I now have a new definition of Hope, and thankful for the One who gave it to me.

Beautiful

Beautifully said. Just when you give it all up, it comes knocking at your door, to give you a new, fresh lease of life. Maybe that's why they say "never lose hope."

Thank you for sharing.

Love,

Mukut Ray
