INDIGNATION

The following text: My children are not supported by their fathers. My two husbands left me with a difficult task. The rights of my children and myself are violated. With our mediocre salary, the life of my family is painful since I do not manage to satisfy even their primary needs, and especially since I cannot even have a little extra. Because there was a rich person who bought the place where we spread out the use of shoes. He constructed a big commercial house there and drove us out of the market. Again violence.

My children study in the following manner: among the seven children, three are in the humanities and four are in elementary school. For that to be possible I rely on a micro-credit house. Each time they give me a credit with a six-month term. I force myself to refund up to the end of the term and the warrantee is my salary. For that, I become a slave to the debt, and life becomes more and more difficult. Now two of my children are going to finish their studies this year. I ask myself how they are going to go to college because it is very expensive here. I am very concerned that I might see my children become stuck like me, their mother. There are no more chances for me to get micro-credit because my salary is too small for me to pay them back. My biggest concern is finding a job where I can manage to make a living in the future for my other children since their fathers are irresponsible.

2. On work: I started working very young as a typist because I studied typing in 1988 at the office of national education. During that time we used mechanical machines. Then I worked taking deliveries of shipments to the Secretariat. Since I have been there, I have worked with five department heads. After 21 years of service I saw that each department head had his/her own way of working. The person who hired me was replaced by a second person who did not really like me. I wondered why. I did not notice it when he was my French teacher. After I knew him again as my boss was when I noticed that he did not want me to profit from the little bonus that was given out every month as part of the state salary. I wasn’t the only one that he hunted like a dog. He was replaced by the first boss, who we restored to favor, and so we all decided to work for him. He was not selfish because he asked all the unit heads to oversee their agents. Things went back to normal. He paid us the bonus in May with an increase of three times more than the others. We had been patient because no one had found another job. Our current boss gives us a little of the bonus but there is no freedom. I was formed through the educational service thanks to him. Up until now I have been just as capable of doing anything as he is. When I am treated like I am worthless that hurts me and that’s why I make such an effort. Today I am making use of other alternatives like so many other people and that makes me very happy. For him, he lacks freedom to know how. Now I am connected to our site WorldPulse but I do not have informative knowledge at the moment. There are computers in the office but we do not have the right to touch them (except typists). I want to have my own machine but I do not have the financial means. If we have access then we get ideas. All of that is a kind of violence. Until next time for the continuation.

Thank you very much for your story! I find it very inspirational to read your lines, because despite all hardship you and your children are going though, you never seem to be giving up or giving in to the circumstances. I admire your strength and I'm convinced that you are a role model for your children, whom you give so much.
Please keep on writing here on World Pulse. I'm so much looking forward to hearing more!
