Merci beaucoup mes amies.

Hello friends. This is my journal. Nearby Uvira and Fizi, people are dying and this is because of the Rwandans that have set up camp in the forests and the countryside. These people do only as they please; they kill children, fathers, as well as rape women and mutilate their genitals. They cut open their stomachs and cut their hands off. They are committing the same acts in Shabunda and Mwenga. We do not know where to take refuge in this world and we are suffering extraordinarily!

We demand that our government take action because things are very wrong. We also ask the World Pulse community to react because the situation is dire.

This happened on September 14th, 2012.

Our screams have transformed into tears.

Thank-you very much, dear friends.
