Hello my friends. It brings me great joy to come to you, to tell you about some of my problems. Through my journal, I would like to tell you that I am Congolese, married and a mother of three children. However, I am unemployed and my husband is still a student. I studied rural development and graduated from the ISDR-Bukavu Superior Institute in 2009 and to this day I remain unemployed. This is why I am reaching out to you, now that I am connected to the World Pulse network as a Mama Shujaa.

Dear friends from Mama Shujaa, I send you my kindest regards and sincerest appreciation. My friends, thank-you.

employment opportunities

Dear Yvonne, thank you for your article about your struggle to find employment in the DR Congo. I know that the unemployment rate in many African nations is extremely high. Part of the reason for this is the corrupt government and acceptance that this is a normal way to treat others. Multi-national corporations are leery of investing in Africa because they may lose their investment due to corruption. I personally know a number of people who have migrated to the U.S. from the Congo and who are succeeding here, where there are opportunities. I'm not sure how Africa is going to attract good investors, who will partner with the people rather than exploit them. Good luck and keep writing about what is going on.
