CHINA SUPPRESSION

On my flight back to the USA from Africa yesterday, I sat next to a young man who is Chines, teaching high school students in Norhwest China the Chinese language. He was begging me to understand that China needs the USA President to take drastic moves to get the President of China to stop some of the bad things he is doing to the people in the name of suppression. He said the citizens never know moment to moment, day to day, what will happen to them if they speak out or do anything out of the ordinary, even a small thing. He said the USA is the most powerful country and they really need us.
I said I would tell people but I feel really helpless to do anything that will make change.
I wish I were a larger force, a more important person so that I could do more.
