On 1st January 2012, in the Lokolya and Lukumba villages, FDHR killed 15 persons and burnt 50 houses and 39 women were raped. On January 2nd 2012, FDHR slaughtered 30 persons in Luyuyu village and looted properties. A pregnant woman and 37 others raped and cut the breasts of 19 women. On 08/01/2012 FDHR slaughtered 16 persons again in Kisema and Ngolombe villages, looted and burnt down 76 houses and 18 women were raped.

Tragic story Nita

Dearest Nita,

Thank you for sharing about the recent events that have taken place in your country. I am saddened beyond comprehension that such awful actions are occurring and that nothing is being done to protect these women. I believe that by telling people what is happening that you will help achieve justice and peace for those who have been harmed. Thank you for having the strength to do so.
