You are on my mind

Dear Friends

Officially, we have graduated and are no longer a class. But to tell you the truth, I haven't felt that yet. The only thing I feel is that we no longer have to submit assignments within a tight deadline. Or, attend a call.

I however, wish that we could still talk on a regular basis. With some of you I do. But those of you who are not on Facebook or Twitter, I miss the interaction.

So I am writing this today to say that you are on my mind.

The date of World Pulse Live Tour is coming closer (another 2 weeks) and I am thinking of each and everyone of you. What you wrote, what you shared, what I learned. I also think what you would do if you were all with me on this tour.

I am especially missing Hu Juan (Redsbird), Dubravka, Ruthibelle, Ifesinachi, Rahel, Monruedee, Marinieves, Mirette,Ly Malin and Maddy. With others, I can speak on Facebook or Twitter. But with you, I feel there's a big wall separating us.

How are you guys? What's life like after the VoF program? What are you working on now?
If you ever come to India, do send me a line. I would love to meet you.

In the meanwhile, let us not break the thread of communication. Let us stay together, connect and share, like we did before. So what, if the VoF program ended?

I sign off here, but before that, sending you all a bunch of love and hugs. God bless you with new energy and success in what you are doing.

Hi Stella, Our minds and

Hi Stella,

Our minds and thoughts must be in the same place!! Just yesterday I wrote to my editor and mentor, both of whom I have not written to in a while. I was happy to get answers from them. And at the moment I have the info about the WP tour in my taskbar ready to post it on FB. I also wrote to my close friend since 6th grade who lives in Portland, OR and told her to try to make it to see you guys, and to meet you all and introduce herself as my childhood friend. I hope she will get to hear you all speak. I think about you three who are going on the tour soon, wondering how you are preparing for it, and how you're feeling. It's such a great opportunity you have been given. I wish I am in the States right now, at least to sit in the audience and cheer you on!!

I also wonder what everyone has been up to since the program. I loved the sense of community and support, and like you, I feel as if we lost it. I have some good things going on now which I will tell you about on FB.

Sending all of you a bunch of hugs too!

With much love,
Noreen

My Dear Stella, Yes end of

My Dear Stella,

Yes end of assignments should not disconnect us. My mind was equally on all of you but time is a big challenge. I have just returned from Nairobi and I attended the V-Day Africa Summit to end violence against women.
Stay connected.
