Introducing myself and my journal: Eyes Wide Open

I'm a journalist cum writer cum video producer who enjoys stirring up trouble! My christian faith defines my life and it has helped me to be rooted in the real world. I am not a feminist, but i do believe in equality for all. I try to promote issues of marginalised groups in my writing or video work, whether its women, children, ethnic minorities, indigenous people or socio-groups like slum dwellers. I believe that i can hold up a mirror to their reality, but I don't presume to be their voice.

My Passions:
Reading, Writing, Reading, Cooking... did i mention Reading?

My Challenges:
Loving others as I love myself

My Vision for the Future:
where all men and women are equal, under God

My Areas of Expertise:
Media, Communications, Annoying people, Being outspoken

Manori, welcome to PulseWire!

Manori, welcome to PulseWire! I just read your introduction and your interest in cooking reminded me that we have a great group on PulseWire devoted to recipes—it's so fun to read recipes from all over the world and to learn new cooking techniques. I hope you will join and post some of your favorite recipes for the community to enjoy.

Here it is:

Yum Yum!

HI Corine

Thanks for the invite, and I've finally joined! I love cooking, and find it so relaxing. And i love trying out new recipes and experimenting with expanding my palate when I travel. So I look forward to being part of this group, and exploring all the recipes. I'll add some of my favourites too - bring in some south asian flavours to the group!

Will you remind us what the issue was specifically?

Share option

Hi Jennifer & Lisa

Basically, when you go to sharing your profile or even an article, and select Facebook option, the information that gets automatically stored in FB about Worldpulse is html tags like "edit". There's no introductory sentence or tag about Worldpulse - which is what usually appears when you share a link to FB.

Hope you can figure it out and fix it.

Cheers,
Manori
