I am excited to announce that I will hold virtual global open office hours to listen to YOU in the US Pacific Time this Monday from 7-10pm and Tuesday 7am-10am.

THE LISTENING CAMPAIGN
Dear Jensine,
Your invaluable work is a testament to the power of hope in a ravaged world.
I have been a Vision Mentor for the past two years and was very fortunate to see you with the three astonishing women who spoke in New York last year. This year, my Correspondent is a young Syrian-Kurdish woman, and I will be seeing her in NY and meeting her for the first time. Knowing her has opened my eyes, painfully but with utter necessity, to the horrors in one of the darkest corners in the world. This year I've been ordained as an Interfaith minister, and if not for World Pulse, I could not reach out globally.
As a gesture of Interfaith love and compassion, I am inviting people, world-wide, in join me in a day of Listening on August 24th.

I'm jumping in quite late - and it's not in response to Jensine - but I had to say something when I saw Tarija mentioned. I lived there for a summer doing public health work and have not met anyone from there since. Simply saying hello.

I wish we had met! I am home now and Tarija is more beautiful than ever. We have lots of flowers and green trees all around. The rivers are full of water and there still is good weather to go swimming.

I haven't published it yet, but Ana is a little girl I'm writing about who finds her voice. What a pure and precious human being. That's your teaser. :)

Tarija has changed a lot since 1998. That is the year my daughter was born and you would not recognize the town now. It is a lot bigger, although it still is a small, very small city.
