I'm Nzigire Amani: Problems of Single Orphans in Congo

I would like to help orphans in our country because orphans suffer a lot, there are those who have become orphans because of the war, because of other diseases. And are now armed hand thieves. Because of this they have become the children of the street, thief, they have become street children because they fail to learn how to live.

Some want to study but they lack the money to study. For lack of means they are now becoming street children, there are those who find the way to study a little. They stopped at the sixth grade and the humanities and they have to thank God that they got their diploma. But this is not enough, they have to finish their studies.

Moreover there are those who have family but are neglected by their families; they steal all the good their parents have. You can see why orphans need to be helped to get out of that they kind of misery. I would love for orphans not to feel neglected. We need to help them to be better protected so that they are as happy as the others to live.

Like me for example, I am orphan from father because of the war. I really suffered . My mother is lucky because I finished my studies of humanities but I lack the means to my superior studies.

That's why I like to help orphans because I've lived that too

Thank you so much

Dear Lucienne, Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. I am so glad that you have the passion to help orphans because if you do not then you would not fight for them passionately. I am also glad to know that you were able to complete your studies and now you have a better advantage to seek help for these children. I encourage you to continue to bring out more of these stories so that the world can know how important it is to help these children. Do you have an organisation that you are affiliated to so that we seek support for this organisation. Please continue with the good work and i here to support you.
Stay blessed my sister and be strong

Thank You, Dear Lucienne

Dear Lucienne,

Thank you for shedding light on the terrible difficulties experienced by orphans in your country. It is so easy to forget that children are the future, and that if we cannot guide them with loving support, they are destined for failure, which is grossly unfair.

Do you have ideas about specific ways to help the orphans overcome some of these obstacles? Because you, too, have had great difficulty completing your education, and because you are speaking out, you are now an excellent voice for these neglected children. You have already taken the first steps to making life better for the children of your country, and others like you who have had some education but not as much as they need or would like to have.

Please, keep writing and keep telling the story of the orphans, and so telling your own story, too. Everything good that has ever happened throughout all of time began with one voice.

Let that voice be yours, Lucienne, and take heart; we are listening!

May The Force Be With You,

Sarah

It must be so frustrating to

It must be so frustrating to watch innocent children leading desperate lives and not feel empowered to be able to help.

Thank you for so your empathy and bravery. With women like you speaking out for the rights of orphans, slowly but surely, progress can be made. Your strength and determination are to be commended. If you can find others who will commit to assisting you in your mission to improve the situation, I wish you the best of luck, and please don't lose hope.

Sincerely,
Nicole
