Looking out for case stories of trafficked victims in India.

Thousands of women and children are being sold off in flesh trade every year, against their wishes. Besides physical and sexual abuse, it's a rape of their minds and aspirations as well, to live a life of a self respecting person!

I am doing research on the victims of trafficking in India. If you know any one or read about anyone who had been trafficked , kindly write to me and give me the details.I would like to study them individually, speak to them, write about them- the causes, the challenges and the probable remedy. I could also assist them to get rehabilitated to some very good known organizations dedicated to this!

Sensitization about this to the mass would be a fruitful step towards minimizing this social evil.

trafficking

Human trafficking - slavery - is a topic very close to my heart. I have just written a novel regarding it to help bring awareness to others over here. I know there are organizations in India that rescue trafficked girls. Maybe you can find these on your computer. I wish you the best with this project.

Dear Starland,

In india statistics show that 45% of the sex workers are children who have been trafficked , which means that before we fight nutrition and health care and mortality rights of children we must do something to curb the trafficking!

Where can I find your novel? Could I purchase it in India?
