Introducing myself and my journal: The Crossing Borders Project

About Me:
The Crossing Borders Project distributes disposable camera's worldwide to various groups to help create their voice to the rest of the world, rather than the mainstream media doing it for them. For over a decade I have been a photojournalist in war zones and decided to create an avenue for others to be their own voice. My masters is in Conflict Analysis and under grad in archeology. I love people and humanity, I despise injustice, corruption and media propaganda. I am all for independent journalism, which is what I do as my passion while attempting to survive in ways that I can in order to continue doing my work!

My Passions:
Photography, investigative journalism, exposing corruption, humanity

My Challenges:
surviving while working in my passion

My Vision for the Future:
To educate and create knowledge one person at a time in the attempt to walk towards a peaceful world.

My Areas of Expertise:
Conflict analysis, journalism, media, human rights, social justice, mediation

Welcome to World Pulse!

Great work! What an empowering tool for people who are marginalized. Coming from someone who understand how to make ends meet in order to do the work, it is a blessing to hear someone else who shares the same passion. Rest assured that you and The Crossing Borders Project are in good hands. Be encouraged to make a difference! As Usha stated this community awaits your active participation.

Peace & Love!
