During the Post Violence in Kenya 2007,many people were wounded and they needed healthcare services. There remained patriotic health professionals who worked hard to ensure people got the medical attention they deserved.
Of them were nurses who risked their lives, walking within police road road blocks to reach the hospitals.
5 yrs down the lane they are still nursing care with the same expertise and warmth.
Follow the link to hear the memories they share to the world and call for protection of women in health professional during war.

Nurses everywhere are indeed a blessing
Your project clearly demonstrates that being a nurse and working in the medical field means one has to put blinders on to treat all people irrespective of their beliefs and convictions. Doctors, Nurses, Medical Emergency Personnel and all others who work in that arena have to possess the ability to practice neutrality no matter what. That can be extremely difficult at times but, your story illustrates how dedicated you all have remained in the face of adversity. You put yourselves in harm's way to assist your fellow countrymen and women and for this I highly commend you. I have renewed respect for all nurses and especially you and all the women you featured in this video presentation. Thanks for a job well done! Keep up the wonderful task you perform in the wake of the numerous challenges you face in your nation as you do your job. Be blessed at all times Okeny-Lucia.

You did it!
What a wonderful way to capture the stories of these women and the universal issue of nurses caring for others in all situations, peace and war, and their giving despite the risk to their safety. Yet at the same time inspiring viewers to create ways to keep them safe. This work is a wonderful final piece to your assignments for VOF. I will be excited to hear of your reaching out to teach fives others how to do the same that you learned in VOF. Thank you for staying committed to telling your story, reaching this point and giving us this inspirational video story..

Sustain the spirit!
Thank you for bringing the brave nurses work at the forefront often lost between ‘far more important’ headlines. Their contributions are self-less, focused and courageous. I had a big, endless smile on my face reading their stories ;- )
Nurses richly deserve our attention and praise!
Creating this clip might be the first step toward something much bigger to recognize their work ;- )
